Visiting the Pentagon
When you RSVP for the Promotion Ceremony, you will receive a separate email that will take you to the Pentagon Sponsor Portal and have you register for the event.
This will be mandatory for your entry into the Pentagon. There are a lot of steps to ensure that this event for Matt is a success, and that you can be there to celebrate with us. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
Summary of important information:
You will need a driver's license or a Military ID.
There is NO guest parking at the Pentagon itself. You must either take the Metro to the Pentagon or use a drop-off service (Uber, Lyft, etc).
Airports
The Ronald Regan Washington National Airport (DCA) is very central to everything going on during this weekend.
It is attached to the Metro Rail station and one Metro Stop away on the Yellow and Blue lines from the nearest hotels in our area that we recommend.
We do not recommend reserving a rental car unless you have other plans to tour Virginia.
All of the National monuments and DC tourist attractions can be accessed by the Metro transit and utilizing the Metro will be MUCH cheaper than paying for a rental car, not to mention parking is a bitch in the city.
Hotels
Below are three hotels all within one block of a Metro Rail station.
Please use whichever works best for you or choose a hotel in either Crystal City, VA or Pentagon City, VA. These are the closest hotels to our home but also the Pentagon and the airport itself.
